St. Paul, Minn. – Minnesota Jobs Coalition Legislative Fund Executive Director John Rouleau issued the following response to a Pioneer Press report that Failed DFL Minority Leader Paul Thissen is considering a run for governor.

“After weeks of not-so-cryptic social media posts, Paul Thissen acknowledging he’s considering a run is the least surprising story of the week. Wildly out of touch with everyday Minnesotans, Thissen has repeatedly supported harmful policies from MNsure, which caused fewer choices and higher health care costs, to job killing regulations and even raising taxes on Minnesotans beer. It’s no surprise Minnesotans have repeatedly rejected his out-of-touch agenda from his failed gubernatorial run in 2010 to his legislative agenda in 2014 and 2016. We look forward to ensuring they reject him again in 2018.”
